One position on the CACUL Research Board will be available as of May 2007. If you are a CACUL member and interested in serving on the Research Board for this two-year term, please send a letter of interest that outlines your experience in research and publishing to candice.dahl@usask.ca, Chair of the Research Board. A sub-committee of the CACUL Executive consisting of the Director – Institutional, the President, and the Past-President or the Vice-President/President-Elect will select a member for the Research Board.
The Research Board, chaired by CACUL’s Director-Institutional, and comprised of 3 members in total, is responsible for:
– peer-reviewing submissions for the peer-reviewed portion of CLA’s annual conference
– awarding research support grants to CACUL members
– awarding the Robert H. Blackburn Distinguished Paper Award
– reviewing submissions for publication in CACUL’s Occasional Papers series
